Saturday evening, September 26 at the Latvian House, San Francisco
The award-winning Vox Populi Noorte Segakoor (Vox Populi Mixed Youth Choir;www.voxpopuli.ee*) will stop in San Francisco during its upcoming tour. The choir, known for its performances of Estonian composer Veljo Tormis’ compositions, honors Tormis’ 85th birthday with the tour. Vox Populi’s director is the award-winning Anne Fridolin. This is also the only youth choir to work with professional directors and stagers to produce unique concert-plays, such as the “Meditations with Tormis” they will be performing here.
